Dear readers,
In the light of our country’s economic and financial situation, we need to refocus our energy on the positive things that we already have. We need to take the time to appreciate our family, health and occupation. We need to be grateful that we have this moment now to embark on pursuing our dreams. What type of information do we consume throughout the day?
When at home, we tend to turn the television on to check what is in the news and somehow catch up with programs that we like. Others read newspapers and magazines to find out what is going on in the world. However, the information and images we consume are about the discouraging dropping numbers of the stock market, bankruptcies of big companies, images of people dying in wars, gruesome crimes around the country and more. Our thoughts are occupied by worries; our nerves are on the edge. We constantly imagine what else can go wrong next.
I want to invite you to become more aware of the materials that you read. Try to become a conscious consumer of quality educational reading materials. Watch quality shows that are positive and fun. Be vigilant with what you feed your mind. Your mind is your most precious possession. Unconscious ingestion of negative materials influences your perception of the world.
If you want success and happiness in your life now, you need to be mentally ready for this reality to happen for you. To do this, you have to consciously pick enriching materials that can motivate you. Use materials that can expand your knowledge and skills. In doing so, you will start to improve your own personal value, opening up possibilities to improve your financial situation. You also need to surround yourself with people who are highly motivated: people who are supportive in your goals. Find a mentor who can assist you and push you up as you climb the ladder to success.

Bing, I just wanted to thank you again for the book. I am just about done reading it and I have to say, I am quite impressed with your writing. I will be spreading the word to our fellow flight attendants that your book is one they will want to read. Peace.

Bing, I finished the book last evening. It is very insightful and you have a great way of writing for "easy reading". I truly enjoyed reading about your childhood in the Philippines. Your family is special. There are so many wonderful, common sense suggestions. I earmarked several pages to copy for myself, husband and children (ages 20, 22, 25). You have an exceptional gift. Warm regards.

Make each day count! Do not wait for the stars to fall into your lap. Grab a ladder and pluck opportunities for yourself. Turn stones over and search for what is underneath. Focus on what you can do. Be great at solving problems. The bigger problems you can solve, the more money will flow into your bank account.
